From our grove in Fort Valley
What Does Organic Mean Here?
Here, organic means certified at the farm, not just on the label. Our organic pecans grow on our own certified land, so the farming and the certification are one operation. Every bag is raw organic pecans, never roasted or seasoned.
Certified, not just claimed
Our certification is issued by under the USDA National Organic Program, and it covers the ground the trees grow in, not just the packing line. The same hand-sorting and freshness standards apply to every pecan we sell, across all our products.
Grown in the right place
Fort Valley sits in the heart of Georgia's pecan country, where the Cleveland family has grown pecans since 1919. Long, warm summers and mild winters give the trees what they need.
What growing organic actually involves
Growing organic raw pecans means managing pests and weeds within USDA organic rules instead of conventional sprays. Organic harvests are also smaller and less predictable, which is why some sizes sell out before others.
Can I buy organic pecans in bulk?
Yes. Bulk organic pecans come as Elliot halves or pieces in 10 lb and 30 lb cases. See every case size on our bulk pecans page, or start with the 30 lb organic Elliot case.
