We Keep the Original Flavor

Our raw pecans are never roasted, seasoned, or coated, so you taste the pecan itself. That means a crisp, buttery texture and a mildly sweet, nutty taste. It is what fresh pecans from a working grove should taste like.

Roast them your way

Toasting fresh pecans at home beats buying them pre-roasted, because you control the timing and the seasoning. Spread halves in a single layer, bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes, and shake the pan once. Unsalted pecans won't fight the other flavors in a recipe. Our guide on how to toast pecans covers the skillet and microwave methods too.

A simple, single-ingredient staple

Raw pecans are a single-ingredient food, with nothing added. Most of their fat is monounsaturated, according to the American Pecan Council.

Everyday uses

Fresh pecans fit into almost any meal.

  • Straight from the bag as a snack.
  • Tossed into salads and grain bowls.
  • Stirred into oatmeal or yogurt.

Make your own

Raw pecans blend into smooth pecan butter, or steep and strain them for pecan milk. They also fold into homemade granola, energy bites, and trail mix. If you would rather skip the grinder, our pecan meal handles the fine-ground jobs.

A pantry staple that keeps

Fresh pecans keep a long time when you store them cold. The American Pecan Council says shelled pecans last about nine months in the refrigerator and up to two years in the freezer. If you cook with them often, buying by the case costs less per pound. See our bulk pecan cases.
